We have been back to our regular meetings since the second week in February. This year is looking to be as busy as usual.
We are currently represented at the Gallery One 50th Anniversary Exhibition. Friday 1st March saw a very successful opening to this exhibition with a large attendance and interesting speakers who provided a wonderful overview of the history of the Mitcham Village Arts and Crafts Association.
On the 25th March the exhibition will change in order to showcase the work of the current class attendees. Our felting class will be filling one wall and corner of the gallery for this new display of work.
Also on the horizon will be an exhibition during the month of June at the Summit Community Centre at Norton Summit in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. We are currently in negotiation and will post further details as they come to hand.
We are also in negotiation with regard to exhibiting in SALA for this year and will provide details once they have been confirmed.
We are excited to be able to welcome Pam De Groot to Adelaide to provide a workshop for our group in July. This promises to be a stimulating few days giving us the opportunity to work together and to learn some new techniques.
